Is it truly so hard to keep sidewalks open and walkable? Recent problems in Toronto [via funkaoshi] remind me of my local gripes last year. That spot in my ‘hood recently patched up those threadbare spots with new paving stones. Need to get a photo.
More bad parking/driving
I couldn’t make it up if I tried. I saw this tonight. Only about 30 feet separates this from the worst parking I’ve ever seen incident earlier this year. There must be some sort of psycho-electro-magnetic field in this parking lot that disrupts human motor functions.
In my neighborhood, two areas have a 1000% difference in household income levels. They’re barely a mile apart. I think I subconsciously intuited the differences while out on my runs, but seeing the numbers mapped like that is still pretty amazing.
